Wow. It's been awhile since I've played this much around Austin. But this week and next, I go both ways - that is, South and North. Thursday, I'll be rockin' the ribs with Paula and Seymour. Saturday, I'll be up at my favorite beer joint, the home of a hundred brews. Joining me at Rover's will be special guest Mark Viator. Mark's an old friend who plays wicked slide guitar and has a strong Cajun influence in his songwriting. We'll have some great songs and some great guitar jams.
Next week, I'll return to Mesa Ranch at Oltorf and I-35 for a solo Happy Hour show. And next Saturday, I'll be headed up to legendary Longhorn Caverns in Burnet.
You get a brief tour of this beautiful, spacious limestone cave on your way to the concert chamber, where the acoustics are stunning and we don't need no stinkin' sound system. Bring a jacket! You can make a full evening of it and have dinner before the concert, or just come for the concert. The park has a new policy requiring 20 reservations by the Wednesday before the show, for the show to go on. So if you've been wanting to check out my concerts in the cave, now's the time to call. All the info's below. See you above ground and below.
Peace through Music,
Steve
