I went to the one in Charlotte on March 7th. I thought it was one of the
best concerts I've ever attended. My dad had won 2 3rd row tickets to
the concert, and, since it happened to be during my spring break and
since SCC's my favorite singer, we went. My dad also had to pay for a
few other tickets for the rest of my family to go. It did last a little
longer than I was expecting it to. However, I'm glad that it did last as
long as it did. We got out about quarter till eleven and got home two
hours later. That's one night that I'll never forget. I would share the
pictures I have, but I don't have a scanner to scan the pictures onto my
hard drive and send them.

I went to the SCC concert in Salem on March 8, and as uaual he did a
great job.  I've been to several of his concerts and I'm never
dissapointed.  I think one of the most powerful moments of the
concert was when they showed the video about the Waodani tribe and the
missionaries that went to them. Then Steve Saint came out and spoke to
us about his time living with this tribe.  It blew me away!

I am getting married in December of this year and would like to use
the song " I will be here " as my wedding song.I am not sure if this
is a good idea and am in desperate need of anothers opinion.I would
also like an email address for Steven Curtis Chapman so that I may
ask his permission.Let me know what you think.Thank you for your time.

That's a great choice. :) I actually want to use that song when I get
married too. But i'm only 17, so I don't have to worry about picking
a song for awhile. ;) I don't think you have to have Steven's
permission, but if you let him know you are using it, I think he will
be very grateful that you chose his song. :)

"I Will Be Here" is a great song for a wedding.
I've done it several times.

I'm here, but I thought I'd let you know that SCC has a song featured
on the soundtrack to the Mel Gibson movie WE WERE SOLDIERS.  I just
purchased the soundtrack a couple of weeks ago and I really like it.
It's got a variety of artists like Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews, Tammy
Cochran, India.Arie, Jars of Clay, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Train.
All of the songs on the album were written specifically for the
soundtrack.  Steven's song is very beautiful and touching.  You guys
should definitely check it out if you get the chance.

yeah, that's a remake of his original song When You Are A Soldier
from For the Sake of the Call...renamed Soldier cause he changed it a
little for the soundtrack. I haven't heard it yet but I hear it's
cool. :)

I went to his concert in biringham and it was great and he had
thanked the uadience for coming but I wanted to thank you for having
the concert.  If anyone reads this and knows steven's e-mail address
or knows a way to get in contact with him please let me know. I have
went to a lot of his concerts and never had the chance just to say
hello to him or meet him. So if anyone could please have him write me
back and just say hi that would be spectacular. I know it sounds
crazy but I think he is a great christian person. And I am kinda
struggling and would just like to be able to have steven curtis
chapman write hi to me.

I went to the concert in Greenville, South Carolina on March 30.
This was the most amazing show that I have ever attended.  Perhaps it
was because we were sitting on the "front" row.  We were about 6 feet
from Steven and it was amazing.  I was lucky and found these tickets
on EBay, so it was well worth the drive from Atlanta. I was amazed at
how this man was not consumed with ego and was willing to have God in
the spotlight instead of himself.  I was a fan before I went to the
show, but now I am a true fan and I really appreciated the way in
which Steven conducted the concert.  Nichole Nordeman was
amazing!!!!!!!!

Hey Everybody,
I just wanted to let you all know that I have a guitar for sale on
Ebay that I got signed by SCC. Picture of him signing it is also
posted at the auction. I just recently purchased a new guitar that I
have been wanting for a very  long time to afford and now I just have
to get him to sign my new one. Fortunately for me I'm going to see
him in concert this Fri. in Dallas. Wish me luck with the new
autograph. If any one is interested in the guitar it's a Dean
acoustic/electric, only 7 months old and in perfect condition. The
auction # at Ebay is 857914266 and it is listed under acoustic
guitars. It has about 3 days until the auction is over and the
bidding was at $300.00 the last time that I looked. The guitar alone
cost that much. Plus I've added alot of bells and whistles to it
already. Check it out at least to see the picture of him signing my
guitar. I'm the one smiling really big in the middle!!!

Hi everyone.  I just became a huge fan of modern Christian music and
Steven has become my favorite.  I picked up his CD Speechless and
just love it!  I also joined a CD club and got his newest release,
Declaration.
Is anyone going to the concert on the 14th at the Smokies stadium in
TN? I'd love to hook up with you.  I'm bringing my girlfriend and
hopefully my husband if he is not out of town, he's a long haul truck
driver for Schneider.
Looking forward to meeting and making some new friends who also like
Steven's great music.

Hi Judi and welcome to the group! Steven was the first CCM artist
that I listened to. I am planning on going to the concert at the
Smokies Stadium. I can't wait! It would be great if I could meet a

Hi I am new this club. I have been a fan of Steven for a long time. I
have been able to see him live for almost every albem thanks to
Sonshine festival in Willmar MN. I just got his new cd a few weeks
ago, I think its one his best albems in a long time. I cannot wait
till July 11-13 because again I will be going to Sonshine and seeing
him do the songs and old ones live. I cannot wait. If anyone has

I love Steven Curtis Chapman, but I recently came across Amy Grant.
I know that I am late and she's been out for awhile, but at least I'm
listening to it now!!!  Are you?  If so, how do you like her new
album "Legacy...Hymns & Faith"?  I think it is her best one yet!!!
In really like the song "What A Friend We Have In Jesus"!!!  Her
songs are so uplifting and they really speak to me.  I hope all of
you like her as well, if you do, let me know, speak your mind!!!
