I'm starting another group about Stevie Wonder for this group's heritage is something I want to preserve forever: a well consolidated experience on the internet, a genuine feeling of friendship and togetherness between all members beside a true and deep love for both the man Steveland Morris and the musician, composer, singer Stevie Wonder.
Thierry Renoux started the former discussion group in May 1996 so I can - AND I MUST - say it was the first ever related to Stevie Wonder.
We simply need to move that group!
Why a Stevie Wonder group?
There's no need to point out his artistic qualities and excellence.
Everybody knows it!
Everybody should know, though, how fundamental and helpful his commitment has been to thousands of humanitarian activities: Dr M.L. King Jr's National Holiday, banning Apartheid in South Africa, Fundraising to sustain research against AIDS, for people in Africa, for the Children of Liberia, for the Children of Romania and many more.
Also Stevie Wonder has the merit of being UNIVERSAL as he - better than everybody else - is able to unify people of all parts of the world, of every religion, of every culture, of every historical background. When you play Stevie Wonder you really understand why "Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand".
Stevie Wonder's music knows no boundaries!
Last but not least: whoever has met him, experienced something special.
Please note that what I'm going to write soon below is not only a comment of a hard die fan like me. People like Sting, Steve Vai and others expressed the same concepts. It cannot be a simple coincidence.
Stevie Wonder emanates a powerful aura that makes you feel you are in presence of a superior Entity sent on Earth from G-d Himself to speak to us all about love, unity and respect for each other.
Is this enough to make us all share our feelings and opinions about the great Stevie Wonder?
