Okay....to all those who thought we were unorganized last April, you
ain't seen nothin yet, <insert evil laughter here>! But, then again,
we've put these things together before with less to go on so here
goes...

Please notice that the locations are all TBA (To Be Announced for
those who's brains are too tired to process). That's because I made
a tremendous offer of karaoke service to a local establishment here
in Fayette (lets just say it involved 6 months FREE) and the
bonehead declined! Actually, the owner wouldn't even talk to me, he
sent his lackey over to talk to us, who said the guy wasn't
interested. Too bad for them, although the place looked like it
would be great for a karaoke show.

The following information is in regards to our 2006 KWCUSA contest
season. Anyone planning on entering should email me at
stkkaraoke@... or call me at 573-864-0171 for details.

Local Contest Dates:
Saturdays: 11/12/05, 12/10/05, and 1/28/06.
Location: TBA
Spots available: 10 total (5 men, 5 women)
Entry Fee: $35
Breakdown:
$20 goes to KWCUSA for National Prize Fund (Winner's trip to Finland)
$5 goes to STK Karaoke for local administrative costs
$5 goes to local 1st place prize fund (to be awarded on nights of
local contests)
$5 goes to local winners prize fund to help cover expenses to state
finals and beyond.

Notes: Men and Women compete separately, top 2 men and top 2 women
advance to local finals. Additional prize fund money to be generated
through 50/50 cash drawings


Local Fayette Finals: Saturday, February 11, 2006
Location: TBA
Spots available: 20 total (6 advancing from local qualifying, 4
wildcard – 10 men, 10 women)
Entry Fee: None for those advancing from local qualifying rounds.
Wild Card Entry Fee: $40
Breakdown:
$20 goes to KWCUSA for National Prize Fund (Winner's trip to Finland)
$5 goes to STK Karaoke for local administrative costs
$15 goes to local winners prize fund to help cover expenses to state
finals and beyond.

Notes: Additional prize fund money to be generated through 50/50
cash drawing


Missouri State Finals: TBA
Location: Bourbon, MO

Region 5 Finals: Saturday, April 22, 2006
Location: TBA
Spots available: 30 total (all advancing from state finals – Top 3
men and top 3 women from each state in Region 5)
Entry Fee: None for those advancing from state finals.
Wild Card Entry Fee: $50 (if spots are available)
Breakdown:
$30 goes to KWCUSA for National Prize Fund (Winner's trip to Finland)
$20 goes to STK Karaoke for local administrative costs & cost of
awards

Notes: Top 3 men and top 3 women advance to USA National Finals
Door Prize: 50/50 cash drawing
