Stephanie - did you ever move back to Columbia?
Nettie and I want to continue our karaoke habit as a hobby, for fun at home with family and friends. My new system ran off of my laptop computer and I now have about 12,000 or so songs (waaayyyy more than I used to have!).
Unfortunately, a few months ago, my laptop screen died on me - sux because the karaoke hosting program I use requires a 2nd screen for the karaoke music and my laptop screen for me to do all my hosting stuff...We can still make it work, but it's not near as pretty as it should be.
Also sux because I'll likely need to buy a new laptop at some point (ouch) and because Microsoft came out with Windows Vista, I might have to re-purchase the hosting program (double ouch) because the version I have is only certified for Windows XP.
Anyway, if you make it back to the Mid-MO area AND if we can get this system functioning at an acceptable level, I'll still honor the certificate.

Thanks, Judy - I like to think it was our singers who made the shows fun.If we could have had the type of crowd we had at Days Inn when we were at the Country Stampede, our final shows might have been more enjoyable. I don't fault anyone for that, but I think our old audience would have enjoyed the newer shows after we changed our format.----- Original Message ----
