The Stone Pony, which may be the most famous rock
and roll club in the<br><br>world is in danger of
being relocated in spirit, and bulldozed
in<br><br>reality! The city of Asbury Park wants to build condos on
the site of<br><br>this renowned club. We think this
would be a travesty! This club has a<br><br>long
history of existence in the community, before it was
known as the<br><br>Stone Pony it has showcased acts as
Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett!<br><br>Over the years
it has seen performances from or had ties to
performers<br><br>from Bruce Springsteen to James Gandolfini.<br><br>If
you feel as I do that this piece of music history
should be left<br><br>to continue in it's original
