The following is a Press Release regarding our ONE LOVE event at Mel Lastman Square on July 6th, 2002. We are making an appeal to all Pastors, Youth Pastors, Community and Organization Leaders to bring their youth 14-24 years old out to this event. We have a very serious mandate for this event which is an attempt to unify and display love to the youth within the body. This is not an 'Outreach but an Inreach'. Through our productions/works (especially this event) we have been called to be examples to serve, edify and love the young people that God has placed in our path as promoters and producers in Toronto. Toronto, May 2002 -- G-Rated Productions is an entertainment company devoted to producing quality events that promote positive role models and entertainment for young people within the community. On Saturday July 6th, 2002 G-Rated Productions presents the 2nd Annual ONE LOVE Outdoor Block-O.
The ONE LOVE Outdoor Block-O is an outdoor music and barbecue event which was established in June of 2001. The name ONE LOVE was created to convey the idea of there being ONE kind of love (God’s love) and everyone coming together in LOVE.

‘God is really speaking to our hearts about the pain that is being experienced in the body and the impact it is having on the youth/young adults,’ says Natalie Carpenter, Events Coordinator, G-Rated Productions. ‘Without getting into too much theology and debate, ONE LOVE is going back to the basics. Love God Love your neighbour,’ Carpenter says. 'Its all there in Corinthians 13.'
Scheduled for ONE LOVE are various performances from Gospel Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae and Spoken Word talents. There will also be an Open Mic, which will encourage people to use the stage to share their gifts; meanwhile, the Freestyle competition will enable those with some more experience to rhyme(rap) and shine.
