I hope you have not been taken in by this, Grouply is a parasite. Anything
that asks for your password or can get access to your personal info is NOT a
good thing. J

I wasn't fooled for a minute - I had a similar private email last week
mentioning Grouply, from someone called "Tammy" whose email addy began
"lovefierysex" - and the message actually read, "we share the Styx group" - now,
I'm not on that many mailing lists, but I smelled a rat, because I don't post
much, so why would someone's attention have been drawn to me? It does, however,
lead me to conclude that the security on this group can't be too great for these
"illegitimate" emails to keep getting in - although my knowledge of online
security is minimal. (My cynicism, however, is the biggest thing in the
universe!)
