As far as I know this song isn't about a real person, it's simply a fictional
narrative. I don't even know if Dennis ever had another girlfriend prior to
Suzanne. The song was actually written and performed live during the Wooden
Nickel era but didn't make it onto a record until 1976.

Does anyone know exactly who "Jennifer" was in this 1976 Styx song penned by
Dennis DeYoung? She could've been an early girlfriend of his, before he ended up
with one Suzanne.

Could this song be, perhaps, inspired by Donovan [Leitch's] 1968 hit "Jennifer
Juniper"?
