This is such a double-edged comment. I for one, am particularly
offended. Sue Foley is one of the BEST blues artists, as well as one
of the BEST guitar players, alive today. "Female" shouldn't even
enter into the equation, as she can run circles around the pathetic
deluge of SRV wannabes, that have been proclaimed as the great, new,
blues performers. I'm not lumping Charlie into this group, as I'm not
familiar with his music. Neither am I a Feminazi. In fact, I work as
a bouncer in a strip club, so most feminists would despise me. But, I
do appreciate talent. Sue Foley deserves better that a "best female"
remark. She is one of the most talented blues guitarists I've ever
seen. Give the woman her due, for Chrissakes.
