I was there too and I totally agree! I love that full multimedia experience and
the quadrophonic sound. They played a few new songs and a few in Welsh... I saw
them earlier this year at the El Rey and I think this show was even better.
Maybe it was because of Four Tet, which was like ambient electronic music
whereas Gold Chains opened at the El Rey and he was a funny white rapper from
San Francisco.
