MY PESDA REVIEW

Hi everyone! Anyone else go to the gig?
Oh it was amazing night! Well SFA were ;)

I got there say 4pm, was pretty quiet...but My God by 6pm it was
packed. I was so annoyed they wouldn't allow alcohol onto site. Well
sunday I found out that if you got there 8pm you could go in and out
with drink. Loads of mates had bought cans from Londis!! So there we
were queuing for 2 hr for a drink.
Even water..you had to queue..grrr! what a way to make sure we didn't
get drunk ;)

my mate lost her purse..so had a chat with the crap
crowd security.

so..most of the afternoon was mingling with old school
mates and in beer tent. I did hear a lot of the bands but being
small didn't see that much. All bands were far too quiet,but SFA blow
us away , loud & rockin'!! I squeeed near front too ..wahey!

Then it rained!! watched Celt-boring ( not my thing)
I thought Cerys was cool,proud of her for 'siarad
cymraeg' and singing in Welsh too. She's heavily pregnant now.
Couldn't hear her that well , though. Her music has mellowed, could
tell she was thinking about her babi while singing. :) I prefer her
oldies I must say.

Then..SFA!!!!!! Oh Gruff was sooo sexy! His hair is
long, curlish and hmm just want to run your fingers though it. Have
you seen the 'Golden Retriever' vid ...he's got a mane like
mine in that. what a hairy lot they are !! LOL

- They played a two hour set, 23 songs spanning all 6
albums.
- They were joined by Yetis during 'Mountain people!'
Wahey ..so glad they played it being in Pesda!
-Dedicated 'Blerwytirhwng?' to the locals in Rachub! area just
outside Pesda. They know why! wild Yetis i bet ;)
-Gruff 'siarad cymraeg'( spoke welsh!) all though the
gig!!
-Bechod! His guitar strap went and he had to tune
guitar a few times.
-How rockin ' was he in that helmet, swinging
something??! whole crowd moshing too& crowd surfing!! :) I want that
helmet!!
-it Closed with 'The Man don't give a fuck' looped
with a voice over comedian Bill Hicks saying "All governments are
liars and mureders" while a big screen showed Bush & Blair.
-Then say 1/2 hr of fuzzy/furry techno!

IT WAS ACE!! waaaw..the energy the crowd had and
atmosphere was surreal!

Much better than the Llandudno gig I went to in 1999,
but I was so much closer to Gruff in '99 ;)

Gruff had so much energy and enjoyed doing the oldies
!!! :)
