I just thought I'd let you guys know that last week Promo Squad got
their listeners to rate several tracks from the new Supergrass
album. If you go to the site you can still hear them if you sign up
for their club thing. The concept of the site is to rate new and
upcoming music on how you like it, and the record industry takes
these into consideration -- giving you prizes in trade. Often you
wind up helping to pick the new singles. Anyhow, once you sign up
you go through a whole song and genre rating process before you get
to hear the new songs.

Bullet

These are usually the songs the label is considering to release as
singles. Rating these tracks also helps determine how much effort
