Susan Cowsill, the original teen idol from the '60's pop band The Cowsills, releases critically acclaimed record "Just Believe It." Susan has long been a favorite vocalist to have recorded with such notable artists as Hootie and the Blowfish, Giant Sand, Nanci Griffin, Red Cross, The Radiators, and more than 100 others. After almost 40 years recording, performing, and writing music, she finally felt it was time to record her first solo album. Lucinda Williams, Adam Duritz, Vicki Peterson, and a host of others guest on the beautiful and diverse album. The CD has been praised by critics in Rolling Stone, NY Times, No Depression, LA Times, New Orleans Picayune, and a host of other publications. She and her husband/drummer Russ Broussard consistantly play throughout the US and Europe.

Russ Broussard, husband/drummer/co-writer/booking agent with Susan, has been drumming since the age of two. He has been playing professionally since he was 16 playing in Cajun bands and cover bands while growing up in Opelousas, LA. Russ finished highschool at the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts in percussion. A couple notable highlights while there was being conducted by Leornard Bernstein and performing with Isaac Stern. After NCSA, he spent the next 4 years racing road bicyles throughout North America before going back to the life of a professional musician. Since 1988 he has performed and/or recorded with hundreds of different artists including Terrance Simien, The Bluerunners, Paul Simon, Johnny Sansone, James Cotton, John Mooney, The Continental Drifters, Michael Doucet, and Sonny Landreth. 2004 marked a first he and Susan in leading the way toward recording an album, writing an album's worth of songs, producing, creating the artwork and packaging, then shopping it to labels. Russ and Susan reside in New Orleans and continue to promote JBI worldwide.
