Thanks for the nice post. I have 3 problems with the DG 9-CD set:

1) Timings range from 36 to 60 minutes, averaging 51 minutes. The music
could have readily fit on 6 CDs.
2) The facsimile text on each jacket back is too small for me to read.
3) The jackets have neither the volume number (1-9) nor the track
listings on them, requiring one to constantly refer to the booklet.

This set may be nice for a new Richter aficianado, but offers nothing to
those who already have the Maestro's recordings.

In addition, "complete" is usually not complete; to wit, the Richter-DFD
recordings are excluded.
