I've been using the "report spam" feature of AOL, but that doesn't seem to have
done anything.
Appreciate your efforts.
And yes, there are old SOTR fans out here that would love to have some news!!!

is still managing to get her junk thru.
Latest spam thru SOTR from her was at 9:31 AM this morning.
Also at 2:43 AM this morning and 10:37 PM last night,
so whatever filter yahoogroups is putting in place isn't working yet.
But then, you probably already know this, since you are getting hit too.
I really DON'T understand folk who continue to do this kind of thing.
They must know that we don't read their nonsense, and they are just messing up
something fun for everyone else.
THANKS AGAIN for your efforts!!!

I managed to score the last two tickets to the SOTR gig at the
Bluebird Friday. I was hoping Jon Randall would be opening but that is
not the case, so I won't be traveling five hours for the show after
all. I'm going to call and cancel. I thought I might do so at a
convenient time for one of you to cash in. Email me if you must see
this show and couldn't get through, and we'll arrange the best time
for me to cancel.

Midnight Girl in a Sunset Town. It will be hard to find any of their
tapes or cd's now as the stores just do not keep them since they are
not in the limelight that much but I will always love their music. When
they were popular, I recorded them every time they played on tv and now
I have a vhs tape with them performing. That will always be special.--

I have a guitar signed by the girls in 1997. I purchased it last year
from the Alabama Grill In Pigeon Forge Tn. They were changing their
Memorabilia collection. It is a Crafter acoustic/electric. It has a
certificate of authenticity & the purchase receipt from the Alabama
Grill. I have it up for sale, If anyone is interested please Email me
At brownbroscustomcycle@... Or call me at 352-489-2921.
Does anyone in this group know what the next line in "Gotta Get Away" after "I
know too well what I'm scared of" is? It sounds something like "Feeling near
guipping you're falling in love." I have no idea what the word that sounds like
"guipping" is. Also, I don't know if the word before it is really "near".

That's great. I'm interested and I'm sure many others on this board
are. I recently offered the Austin City Limits 1986 on DVD to spread
that around recently.

I have a complete video tape of the sweethearts which include videos,
their appearances on Nashville Now, Austin City limits, and even an
episode of Hee Haw. It is on VHS but I really want to get it on dvd.
Will let all of you who are interested know when I have it on dvd.
i would be happy to share in the cost of transferring to dvd, and pay postage
for a copy of dvd or vhs. john's copy of the austin city limits concert is
great

I am a huge Sweethearts fan. I am glad to see somewhere to chat about
one of the best groups ever. I love their music. I miss new material
and seeing them on television. Luckily, most of my VHS tapes of the
girls performing on shows like Crook and Chase and Nashville Nights
still work. They are from the mid 90's, but still great to watch. If
there is any new updates I hope to see them soon here.
