Holdsworth Community Centre & Services is a dynamic and innovative
centre based in Woollahra providing services to families with children,
older people and people with disabilities in Woollahra and surrounding
areas. Holdsworth plans to establish and support a Community Choir that
will involve staff, volunteers, clients and local residents. It will be
based on the premise that singing is a joyful experience and can promote
harmony and a spirit of sharing and community.

Holdsworth is seeking a Musical Director to work with staff to develop
the choir and to manage the musical aspects of the project. It is
envisaged that this would involve one evening a fortnight and a person
able to make a commitment of at least 12 - 18 months is sought. An
ability to work with, encourage and motivate a diverse group of people
is necessary as well as sound musical ability. Initially this will be a
volunteer appointment, but we hope to convert this to a paid role once
the choir is established.
