Singers Wanted

TENORS & BASSES: Do you long to sing with a talented, respected and dynamic
choir? Voices from the Vacant Lot have been performing for over twenty
years. We have sung across Australia and overseas. We play an eclectic
variety of instruments and assorted percussion. Our repertoire includes
world music and original compositions. Our performances are described as
energetic, fun and joyful.

We keenly support social justice causes and we enjoy singing about the
issues that concern us: land rights, community, life and justice. We view
music as a force for the empowerment of all people. We also like to jam and
have a lot of fun!

We are looking for committed basses and tenors with singing and performing
experience. An ability to read music is preferable.

Membership to the choir is subject to a three months trial period to make
sure everyone fits in.
