Hi all
Bel a cappella is performing a beautiful mixture of pieces in a wonderful
venue on 3 May. Come along for a Sunday afternoon of great classical music.
Two of these pieces, Durufle's requiem and Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb,
are accompanied by the organ, with David Drury as organist.
We are also performing two beautiful a cappella pieces - Tomkin's O God, the
proud are risen against us and Taverner's Funeral Ikos.
The concert will be led by Bel's new musical director, Anthony Pasquill.
There will also be a cellist performing a Sculthorpe piece.
This should be an extraordinary concert and well worth the ticket price of
$25. You can buy tickets from me, or through the Bel website, or simply turn
up!
If you can't come, or even if you can, please forward this info onto others
who you think may be interested.
Cheers
Margaret
