It¹s rare to find three hot groups like this on the same bill.

Led by musical director Dynes Austin, The Honeybees and their guests, The
Café of the Gate of Salvation, deliver gospel a cappella music which is
engaging and passionate. Add Sorelle¹s unique, soulful sound and you¹ve got
a gig which is bound to leave you feeling uplifted.

In the beautiful surrounds of St John¹s Church in Darlinghurst next Sunday
afternoon, The Honeybees and friends COTGOS and Sorelle will treat you to
some traditionals, as well as modern gospel-inspired numbers, which draw on
related styles like soul, R & B and jazz.

Sunday, June 21
2pm-5pm
St John¹s Church
120 Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst

Tickets: $32.50/$16.50 concession (includes booking fee)
Tickets are selling fast.

We¹re raising funds to support Basundhara, a non-profit registered charity
in India which is a rehabilitation centre for the abandoned and destitute:
children, unwed mothers, women and elders in distress. The care, shelter and
long-term rehabilitation of these marginalised groups is Basundhara¹s work.
Their vision is to create a society where every child enjoys the right to a
dignified life by introducing orphaned, abandoned and destitute children
into the mainstream of life and empowering destitute and distressed women
through self help packages and training.

A tough task, indeed, in India.
Please forward this email to your friends even a few dollars goes a long
way there.

If you¹re not familiar with them, here¹s a little about the performers ...
The Honeybees is a high-energy, not-for-profit a cappella community choir.
Inspired by the uplifting and passionate quality of the gospel genre, they
sing with an energy that is hard to resist.

Café of the Gate of Salvation is a highly-sought a cappella choir, also
inspired by the African-American vocal tradition; the passionate, committed
and exciting music of gospel and spirituals.

The members of Sorelle quartet draw on their vast professional experience in
R & B, jazz, music theatre and opera, blending diverse vocal styles to form
a rich, dynamic and unique sound.
