hiya!
this is to let you know that two of my favourite bands are doing gigs this
Saturday.
Echolalia is a female vocal trio who only gig very rarely and are to die
for! They are amazing classically trained singers and their ensemble work
is flawless. They're performing with another group called In Dulci at Pitt
Street Uniting Church from 5:30pm.
Triantán is a celtic vocal trio that i've been in for the last ten years.
we also don't gig very often, and are playing from 8pm at the Almost
Acoustic Folk Club, Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre 665A Darling Street,
Rozelle NSW Phone: (02) 9698 2206 go to
http://freewebs.com/almostacoustic for more details. The other act is
called Cranky Franky and they are laugh-til-you-cry funny. Matthew Hobbs
writes a lot of their material, and has a great track called Suicidal
Shrubbery on The People Have Songs album [see website below].
hope i see you at either or both of these events!
