Description

Group for discussion of music made using the Atari 2600, with an emphasis on Paul Slocum's SynthCart. Also discussion may include Cynthcart for the c64.

Note: There are plenty of great places to showcase you chipmusic (VORC, micromusic, et al) Please refrain from posting plugs for songs that do not include any Synthcart, Cynthcart, or Atari 2600 sequencer type programs. Those of us on multiple lists thank you in advance

Its just a way of seqeuncing the buttons youd press with normal synthcart usage. Try the rom in an emulator to get an idea of what this is like.

Do any of the 24 Atari keypad buttons trigger the atari percusive noise sounds? Or can I only hear these by starting the beatbox?

Hi- The midi2600 kit gives you control of all 24 atari keypad buttons via midi notes. Nothing more, nothing less. -justin
