Hello everybody,
For those of you in the New York area... I'm putting together a
theatre piece which will require a live band of c64's, ataris, and
gameboys. I am looking for one or two people who would be able to
play the music live with me. The show is going up in Brooklyn at the
end of March. Rehearsals would begin 6 week prior. Before I start
asking people who have no experience with synthcart/cynthcart I
thought I'd see if anybody would be interested on this list. Email me
and I'll give you more information. I would really love to work with
somebody who would help with ideas and possible composition elements
as well, though I have working versions of the songs already recorded.
Also, there is a fair amount of video of old NES games, hacked games.
If anybody has some tips for people who are great with video/
projection, especially creating hybrid version of games then let me
know.
Thanks everybody!

You can visit my website for a sample of one of the tracks for the
play. Just go to PLAYS --> THE DUDLEYS!
Here's a synopsis of the play:
The Dudleys! takes the drama of a grieving family and translates it
into the world of an old malfunctioning NES video game. Washing
dishes, fighting with your sister, going to a funeral are all stages
in The Dudleys. It’s a game of real life. Vic, the oldest son, must
play the game that is his family despite the lack of an instruction
manual or even assurances that The Dudleys! is, in fact, winnable.
