Ah, okay. I've actually seen "circuit bent" Speak N Spells up for
auction on eBay. I thought that's what the guy was getting at, but
was not sure.

Hmm... I don't have a good answer for that, but it's putting out an
audio system for TV, so if you can bend said audio by adding filters
and what not, the answer is probably yes. Otherwise, hmm, dunno...
I'm not sure how the 2600 produces its sounds in the first place.
