Plans are going well for the International Pipe and Tabor Festival in Stroud UK

9-11 July 2004

Angel Vallverdu (Catalunya) is the guest artist.

Rose Moresk will be performing (Recreation of 1500 Morris)

A variety of workshops - Including Ball de Bastons, Early Morris (Dance and
music workshops)

Early dance music Masterclass with Bill Tuck.

Good symposium line up for the Friday.

This year we have combined with the town's medieval fayre on the Saturday -
celebrating the town's 700th anniversary. There will be plenty of
interested audience for us to perform to. The main event in the evening
will be the Medieval Banquet and Dance.

For anyone who has not been to the festival - it is mainly a festival for
musicians to get together, but it also provides an opportunity for us to
play to the local population. The Big Dub happens at regular intervals -
where we hear the sound of massed pipe and tabor.

I think this year we will have several visitors from Spain, but as yet
no-one from the USA has signed up.

Tickets go on sale later this week.
