The drum circle sounds wonderful. Thank you for informing me. Unfortunately,
I'm in Southern California.
I play an okedo-daiko at drum circles. It works great. It fits in right
between the jembes and jun-juns. The biggest circle I play is up at Venice
Beach. I have yet to see another taiko drum at a circle, but I've heard they
appear at Venice sometimes.
I hope someday I can join your circle.
I may have sent a question to you about making an okedo a few months ago (I
asked all over). Well, I finished it. If you're curious:

I hope you had a great time at the Solstice Circle.
Ciao,
Brian
