Hi everyone,

I'm a member of Kokyo Taiko, a group based out of Chicago, IL. I've
been playing taiko for about 7 years now, and I've begun to start
taking up Tahitian drumming (along with fire knife & hula dancing)
with Barefoot Hawaiian (another performing group here) which is
almost the exact opposite of taiko altogether as far as techniques
go.
Um...planning to go to the taiko conference in 2005 in Cali, and saw
the invitation for the North American Taiko Competition. Hopefully,
it'll be right after Tahitian Fete competition, so I can pretty much
stay out there for two weeks or so.

Anyway, I update and maintain Kokyo Taiko's website:
http://www.budtempchi.org/kokyo.html

Right now, I'm still in the midst of updating it here and there,
once I've gathered enough information from the rest of the members.

However, I pretty much wanted to drop a line and say hi!
(Sorry for the rambling...I tend to do that!)

-Earl
