Hello once again Party Bears! Long time long time... I've been forgetting to
send our monthly updates for a few months now. I'm really sorry.. To make it up
to you, I'll make a quick recap of what has been happening over the past few
months. As most of you might have known already, our former bassist, Benny, has
decided to quit the band and focus on his career. We wish him the best in all of
his endeavors! On a similar note, I'd like to introduce and welcome some new
faces in our Party Bear family - Isa Garcia, of formerly Bitter Pill fame, is
Taken by Cars' new bassist. As Sarah puts it... "2 chicks are better than one!"
And also TbC's new born sister, Techy Romantics. You can check out their music
at http://www.techyromantics.com and their debut album is due out this year. In
other news, Sarah and Bryan of TbC have been dabbling on DJing as well (they're
still deciding on their DJ aliases). With a new bassit for TbC, a brand spankin'
new band, and two DJs on board, our humble Party Bear family is slowly growing.
More plans are in store for Party Bear so do watch out for that and we sure do
hope for your full support. Back to TbC... Due to the sudden departure of Benny,
we've had a rough couple of months in gigging and song writing, but we're now
right back on track. If you haven't heard the new TbC songs, make sure to catch
their next bar gig. I'm sure they can't resist not playing them hehehe=) Ohh if
you have families or friends in Singapore, make sure they catch TbC in this
year's Baybeats Festival in August with Anberlin, Love Me Butch, and our very
own Ambassadors. We're all very excited for Baybeats! Anyway, 'til next month
