Hey...I'm new...and I walk this thin line with
Eminem. I like some of his music, but I sure as hell
don't respect him as a human being. I seriously don't
think you can respect someone who comes across as not
even respecting himself. About a month ago I went to
see Eminem with the "Anger Management Tour" with my
little sister who is 15. She's a huge fan...she looks up
to the guy. When he came onstage to sing "Drug
Ballad" he decided to take a pill of ecstacy. I was very
sorry that my sister and all the other young kids at
the concert or ANYONE for that matter had to witness
this event. He knows very well that those kids look up
to him, but it still doesn't have any effect on his
actions. Then when he came on to sing "Stan" he was
like..."Sorry...the bitch isn't here with me today." Just things like
that really turn me off of his personality and
distance me a lot from his music. I liked it a lot at
first thinking it was just an act through his music,
but when I found those were his true beliefs I didn't
really find him too fun to listen to. I'd rather fill my
soul with inspirational songs...like Dido, Jewel,
etc...
