A knock on the door tells us our time is up. This seems a good
opportunity to repair the earlier misunderstanding. I reiterate to
Seal that I didn't mean to call him arrogant. But, alas, he's having
none of it. "You know," he smiles, "I remember a great thing I heard
Terence [Trent] D'Arby say. Someone accused him of having an ego and
do you know what he said? He said, `When you go on stage, you'd better
have an ego – and if you haven't got one, you'd better find one fast!'
Hahaha!"
