R.I.P. BILL
Bill, only in his forty's, never got a break when he was living. He
was a good person who was dealt many bad blows. After a short, but
difficult, battle with cancer, Bill has died. Unfortunately, he still
can't get a break.
His wife and teen-aged daughter are struggling to come up with the funds
to give him a proper send off. Nothing fancy, just proper. His wish was
to be cremated, and even this is out of their financial reach.
Last year, Victoria came out and generously helped Pete by attending a
performance by Terry Garland and Bruce Courson at the Victoria Public
Library. Donors were generous indeed!
I am asking you to do the same thing for Bill.
Terry and Bruce will perform a benefit concert for Bill at the Victoria
Public Library on August 14, 2008 at 7PM. Please open your hearts, and
wallets, to someone who is in desperate need of our help.
If you are unable to attend the benefit, you can send a check to me,
writing "For Bill" in the comment section, and I will see that
it gets to Bill's family.
Thank you,
Joanne Garland
