we drove my father's 65 chev swb p.u. to the fest.
6 cyl, 3 speed on column-&"Frig King" A.C. mounted under the dash
4 GUYS in front seat, three in the pu bed with a home-made camper
- 7 of us! I took 50 bucks to spend for all three days
and had a little $$ money left when i got home. we split up groceries, took a coleman stove
made a campfire, & cooked out at the lake, and did a lot of other stuff at the lake as well!
as i remember...the worst thing was that the lewisville area was "dry" you had to go all the way back to dallas to get beer , wine, & whiskey etc. what a "Bummer"
but we had a frigging blast!
