Tales From The Woods is an unconventional Roots Music magazine published several times a year and encompassing 1950s style rock'n'roll, Rock-a-Billy, Country, Blues, Soul, Jazz, Reggae, etc. It includes gig information, reviews of shows and record/CD releases, obituaries of artists who have recently died, etc.

The magazine also includes satire, political comment, comedy and generally has an irreverent approach. We aim to capture that spirit on this Yahoo Group, and provide a Forum where people can discuss almost any subject without censorship.

The only rules are nothing libellous or slanderous, and avoid deeply insulting personal attacks on individuals.

Light-hearted satirical comments on well known celebrities and politicians, however, are welcome.
