Blues Britannia - A three part series tracking the development of the
British blues boom from the 50s onwards. Part one focuses on the arrival of
American blues in Britain in the late 50s, including archive performances by

Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee etc. Subsequent programmes cover
the first blues boom of the early 60s and the development of bands like
Cream, Fleetwood Mac and musicians such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green etc.
