...which is moored on the Thames by Hungerford Bridge and Embankment tube station.

From around 8.00 to 8.15pm we shall take a casual stroll up the Strand, to a befitting Woodie eating establishment.
Our esteemed Social Secretary is going out and about auditioning venues for this and future get-togethers!

Tony Philibert has alerted us to a gig by Booker T at the Bush Hall in Shepherd’s Bush on July 30^th.

4 Joe Meek film “Telstar”

This opens tonight (19^th) in Islington. There was not enough interest in this to allow us to make a group booking, so the planned Woodie attendance will not go ahead. If anyone does attend tonight or in the future, we would like to hear their reviews.

 

5 Saturday Morning Pictures.

We did get a lot of interest in this one, but many of those interested cannot make it on June 28^th due to holidays and other commitments, so we have decided to postpone this until later in the year. Watch this space!

 

6 Emily Rivers/Bunter

I have to sadly report that yesterday [Wednesday] Emily Rivers was  rushed in to Hospital, At this stage it is not known what illness Emily is suffering from, or how long she may remain hospitalised, I am sure all our thoughts are with Danny at this trying time.

Better news is that Brian “Bunter” Clark is out of hospital and now recuperating at home, though he won’t be allowed out to play for a little while. We wish him a speedy recovery.
