hey there fine folks - mardi here, just passing, thought I'd take a moment to
drop you a line.
We have been in Sydney for the past week and
suffering from serious email withdrawls....at
last I am saved.

We are definately on the downward journey of
this tour and feel the yummy fremantle doctor
calling us. I forgot how muggy it can be in old
Sydney town!

Tonight sees the first of our shows with Weddings
Parties Anything in Sydney. I am told that they
are all sold out - I can only assume that is
because of the Weddos, but one can only dream!!
We are looking forward to the shows and playing
to pumping raucous audiences. We have had a great
time , with lots of lessons learn't along the way.
I keep telling myself that is the most important
thing and that is will therefore be easier next
time. Hmmm....I do believe it though!

We have had some great experiences and met some
wonderful people...it is those times that keep us
going when we have to deal with the downright shit
heads that we have encountered along the way also.
So, to those of you that were Velvet Virgins before
this - thank you for venturing out and getting
involved. It has been great to have you there!!
Also to those of you who really got behind this
tour for us and rang friends and thought kind
positive thoughts also - thank you to you.
At this stage it looks like we will be back at the
end of Feb to 'do it all again'!!

We have also learnt that most people in this
country who have spare rooms - own futons.I have
this theory that people bought futons when they
were really in and after about a day, hated them
and relegated them to the spare room, so that
they could buy yummy beds for themselves and also
have something for other 'friends'to sleep in.
Hmm....I wonder if it's a 'you're staying too long
at my house' thing?? Anyway, my back is killing
me but I am soo thankful for a bed..so i will quit complaining now. Thank you.

Saturday 19th Dec is our last show in Perth for 98.
Christmas with the Janes! We are busily trying to
find someone brave enough to jump into a Santa
suit for the night and frollick around the venue.
Mojo's is the venue of choice for such an event
and we look forward to playing to yous guys again.
Gotta love our crowd...we do!
