Hello there then oh wonderful persons of the mailing list variety. Hope that
this finds you most well!! We are getting ready to run out the door to drive
to Albany for the first leg of our 'down south' extraganza, and I thought
that I would drop you all a line before we go.

The Ani DiFranco tour dates have slightly changed since we last wrote..they
are now as follows:
(big wave to the Sydney crew!!)

Thursday 21st Jan: Norwood Concert Hall, Adelaide
Saturday 23rd Jan: The Regal, Perth
Monday 25th Jan: The ANU, Canberra
Thursday 28th Jan (second show): Enmore Theatre, Sydney

We are, as you can imagine, very excited about this latest change! New
Zealand fell through because of their immigration policies requiring a NZ
act for overseas artists. (Same as ours requires an Australian act!)
Also we came home to an invitation to appear with the Cowboy Junkies on the
6th February at the Concert Hall in Perth, and possibly some other
interstate shows. (awaiting confirmation of that now!)

AND..we received an email from the Alaska Womens Music Festival..yes, in
Alaska..asking us about the possibility of performing there this year.
ohmygosh. What a bizarre time it is!

We have tentatively booked the Fly By Night club for a Perth show on the
13th Feb - the day before Valentines -so we had an idea to do a 'love the
one you're with show'..whatever that means. The bigness, and the
seriousness of the Fly scares me a bit but hey, 99 might be a year to
confront that! (secret thing: I always get scared
that no one is going to turn up!!)

So..that is our life at the moment. Hope that yours is a good one and that
99 has started off well for you. (Oh yes, happy new year....big sloopy kiss....)

Our dates for the 'extraganza' over the next ten days go like this:
Friday 8th: Earl Of Spencer, Albany
Sat 9th: Albany Blues Fest, Wignels Winery (4pm)
Sun 10th: Augusta Hotel 7pm
Wed 13th: Tortoise Shell Farm, Bridgetown
Thurs 14th: Vasse Hotel, Busselton
Fri 15th: Dunsborough Tavern
Sat 16th: Prince of Wales, Bunbury
Sun 17th: Caves House, Yallingup

So, if we don't see you there, we'll see you there....huh? (nosleep..nosleep)
