Hello yet again oh email friend of the Velvet Janes!!

We are busily getting ready for our show THIS saturday night at the Fly -
we have just confirmed Melbourne band - The Habibis - to be the very
special opening act. The Habibis are featured on the soundtrack of the movie
'Head On' and are made up by a fantastic array of instruments. (mandolin,
bouziki, hand drums,bohdran etcetc) Definately a pre valentines day experience
that I would suggest!!! (oh, but I am biast!)

For those of you reading from other States then please know that we don't
leave you out this email..read on!!

We hit your fine shores, and my hometown, on Saturday 20th Feb. That night we
are doing a quickie at an event called 'Pocket Women'. Then our dates look like

Fri 5th March - Snake Pit (someone PLEASE tell us we won't be maimed in this
venue!!)
Sat 6th March - Cat & Fiddle (with Matt Ellis as opening act)
Sun 7th March - 10am at the Go Girl Festival @ The Domain

In Syd we are also possibly appearing at the Womens March on Sat 6th in
the city and are still working on our gig in Canberra for the Sunday night.

For up to date info, either check our website or else the local press will
start running ads soon! Hope to see some of you there!
