Yes indeedy, they do! Tis nice to be home in the comfort of our own beds and the
loving arms of our sweet cats Dave & Jess!!! What a hell of a tour we had, some
great shows with great people and others..well, we just won't talk about them
and hopefully they will go away! (with counselling and a lot of love!!)Whoever
the hell said experience is a good thing obviously never toured!!

So, hello..hope this finds you well. Wanted to drop you all a line just to let
you know of our upcoming shows, recording plans, tshirts and general who har.

Our list of upcoming shows are at the end of this email. You will note that we
are doing a combined show in Perth with our mates from Melbourne, The Bluehouse.
We are most looking forward to a night of frivolity and indecency. Just so you
know first, tickets for the event will be pre sold at Reds (I think Reds!) and
at the venue, you will also be able to book for dinner and therefore secure a
table, but first in first served. We wanted to presell tickets as we believe the
night will be a sell out, and I wanted to let you folks know about that first so
you can be guaranteed of a ticket. Tickets are $12.

Also on the books for May is the recording of the live album. The dates are yet
to be secured but will either be the first or second week end in May, at Mojos,
again, tickets for this event will be presold also. We have also just decided to
record a studio single at the same time. It will have only 2-3 songs on it and
will be for sale but will predominantly be for radio airplay.

Speaking of which, many thanks to Corrine, wherever you are, for requesting
Venus Calling on Triple J super request last week. We didn't hear the actual
song being played but thanks to the fast thinking of a couple of friends driving
by who ran in to tell us, we heard them say who requested it !!! Keep that
up..we need all the help we can get!

Oh yes, our tshirts should be up and running for the cd recording too!! We were
going to have a design competition , infact, if you have an idea for a tshirt,
feel free to submit it to us and if it is better than what we design then we
will use it ...prize will be, umm...maybe a copy of each of our albums,
including the first EP, Venus Calling, the live album and of course a tshirt.
Hell, that sounds like a Velvet Janes Pack to me!!! So, if you are into it, send
us designs either in the mail (PO Box 1558, West Perth WA 6872) or via email in
Corel Draw, Illustrator, pagemaker or photoshop format. Cool..a veritable velvet
janes competition!!

One last thing is to welcome all the new folks to the list! <<<waving>>> We
added a number of newbies, velvet janes virgins ..from the last tour.
