Well hello there! And welcome to the first in hopefully many newsy bits
from us, for 2000. Hope your celebrations were worthwhile and vaguely
memorable!

So much news, it feels like ages since we have written!

We just returned from 5 days down South visiting the crew at
Dunsborough, Bunbury, Yallingup and Margaret River. All great places to
be if you are in the middle of a heat wave..but no one mention the word
'sunburn' to Mardi. Many a gig was played with a cold bottle of water
wedged between the guitar and her rather red tummy..well, that is what
she said it was for anyway!

Now we have come back home straight into rehearsals for our live
recording, which if you havent caught up with the news, happens on Jan
22/23rd back where it all started (well, something started) at the Rock
Garden Cafe, Inglewood. Doors Open at 6.30pm and we have requested
there not be as many tables (so get in fast if you want them) as usual
so people can sit on the floor or dance and hopefully take the energy
through the roof..it is our aim to get that energy onto tape! Sunday
nights show is an earlier starting time as the venue has to be closed
by 10pm. Special guest artist for both nights is a mate of ours from
South Australia who is a fabulous singer/comedial..Mary May Gill. We
are so very excited about this recording..as we are all of them, but
there is something so very special and amazingly scarey about a live
recording. Hopefully there will be most, if not all, of you favourites
on it..and a couple of newies too!

The other exciting news hot off the press (like a few hours!) is that
Ms Ani DiFranco has yet again given us an opportunity to tour with her
again around Australia come February. In the words of her agent in the
US, 'she loves you guys'..can't tell you how happy we were to hear
those words!! At this stage we know that we are taking on part of the
tour and will let you know asap, as to which part of the tour that is.
We are jumping around very joyous at the moment!

Also we are busily putting together our next national tour which will
take place from Feb 18th - March 7th and will cover NSW, SA, MElb and
for the first time country Victoria too. We will let you know more
dates as we get closer, or else you can seek them out on the web site:

Hope this finds you all well..feel free to jump around joyously with us
for a minute..life is too short to forget those moments of joyous
jumping.
