Thank you for the offer. I am afraid in terms of CD's I have little to offer
back concerning one of our favorite film composers. I am still building my
North collection on CD's. Nevertheless, I do have an extensive collection on
records. THE ROSE TATTOO, SOUND AND THE FURY, THE BAD SEED, to name just a few,
and they are in mint condition.
I am interested in what you have from SPARTACUS. What are you looking for as a
trade? Maybe I have something that would interest you.

I just find it hard to believe no one has tried to restore the original
soundtrack from this movie. They did restore the video just a few years ago.
You would think they could have done the same with the music.

I have a copy of the three-CD boot. The sound quality isn't bad, to
my ears. Not up to "Cleopatra" standards, for sure, but quite
listenable, especially for a score recorded in 1960. I agree: a must
get.
