I've been listening to this and it is wonderful. It's interesting
to here some of North's ideas for '2001' in a different context,
and perhaps we get some hints in parts of this score of what
the rest of '2001' would have been like if North had
been allowed to complete it.
This music is both majestic and intimate, in the epic
North style. There is much more music on this CD than
on the German (?) 'Fisherman' import, which always sounded
disjointed to me. I haven't listened to disc two yet (source
music and music from "MGM 1968 Widescreen Spectaculars")
but I'm looking forward to it.

Perhaps more music? It certainly has more music than the release I
have.
