I concur with Michael Gates' remarks concerning FSM's
newest release: Alex North: SHOES OF A FISHERMAN.
This is a brilliant extended release from the original
and contains far more material than previously heard
on either the German release, or, for that matter, the
origianl LP release. The sound is brilliant and
solid. More importantely, it shows the sheer
brilliance of North and his unique style in composing
film scores. He was one of the best of his generation
and this newest release only enhances that fact. A
must for any North fan.
