Hi. I came across this group while doing a search, and while my main
interest is in Classical organ I do tinker with the pops also. I
noted one of the previous messages referred to the soudfonts created
by Bruce Mile's Cinema organ (he also has another termed "European
organ) and also to the "Jeux" - french organ soundfonts.
I have been looking for software to control the stops from the PC and
came across Comput'organ written by Patrick Brusorio.
I downloaded his software and the KeyKit software which runs it and
have successfully played the standard GM MIDI sounds using my Ahlborn-
Galanti organ. I have not however been able to figure out how to play
any of the organ soundfonts viz. those mentioned earlier, even though
as far as I know I have followed all of Patrick's install
instructions and have set up the soundfonts in the soundfont bank
manager.
I sent Patrick and email asking for guidance but have received no
reply (maybe he no longer resides at his posted email address). If
anyone has any insight into this software and what I might be doing
wrong I sure would like to hear from you. Thanks - Mike
