"Your Officially Have Access To "The Breathing Room"

You know how I get down; Same time different day. Here's the news & gossip, Loser
of the week Paris Hilton; Triumph for Hip-Hop at MTV Awards; The World Primere
DJ Pooh Bear highly anticipated mix tape, “Sign & Unsigned Hype Vol.1” is out. A
Pharrell Williams scoop: sneakers called Ice ..; Celebrity Birthday.; Rapper
booed off stage at Reading.; Ja Rule To Plead Not Guilty.; The World Primere DJ
Pooh Bear is coming out with a Mixtape, and need artist to participate in the
mixtape that's coming out within a week an a half. Email me now to participate;
Looking to be a Sponsper email me now.

After Paris Hilton reported her Chihuahua Tinkerbell stolen with an option to
kidnap and promising a $5,000 reward for her safe return, word has come out that
tipsy Paris merely left the pooch at her grandmother's house and thought that
alerting the media and the FBI was easier than calling a relative. The incident
lowers the wattage of the dim-bulb heiress' public image, but just about
everyone is breathing a sigh of relief that the $3,500 Hermes zipper doggy body
bag will not have to be used.

Triumph for hip-hop at MTV Awards

Rapper Jay-Z won four awards including best rap video

Jay-Z may have "99 Problems," but winning Moon Men ain't one. The rapper, who
claims to be retiring from hip-hop, got a fitting sendoff Sunday night at the
2004 MTV Video Music Awards winning four of the six categories he was nominated
in: Best Rap Video, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Cinematography.
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, even got a good luck gold watch, courtesy of Dave
Chappelle and a Times Square vendor. Sniff. Don't let the door hit you on the
way out.

Gritty
Jay-Z had been nominated in six categories for his video 99 Problems, a gritty
black and white clip which depicts the rapper being killed.
"I felt like I was trying to push the envelope," he said on accepting the award
for best rap video.

Andre and Big Boi threatened to overtake Jay-Z's final (or not) farewell, tying
him with four nods for their "Hey Ya!" clip, including the night's biggest
prize, Video of the Year, along with Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Special Effects
and Best Art Direction.

Also angling for Jay's mike was Usher, who won bookend Best Male and Best Dance
Video trophies for "Yeah!" featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris. The night's only
other multiple winner was No Doubt's "It's My Life" for Best Group and Best Pop
Video.

While Usher failed to make it a threepeat, losing Best R&B Video to girlfriend
Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You," the singer gave himself props for beating out
Justin Timberlake's "Senorita" in the Best Male Video category. "I guess there
ain't really no comparison between me and Justin no more right? There's no
competition between me and Justin, I'm setting the record straight."

Of course, if they were had given out a Best Abs award, the Confessions singer
would likely be a shoo-in for that too. Usher ripped off his shirt four minutes
into the show performing under a rain shower, taking the title "most exposed
artist of the evening."

The night's only British victory went to Franz Ferdinand, who won the Break
through Award for Take Me Out.

British hopefuls The Darkness failed to win any awards, despite being nominated
for best new artist and best rock video for I Believe In A Thing Called Love.

Other winners included Australian rockers Jet, rap group Black Eyed Peas and R&B
singer Alicia Keys, who performed a duet with Stevie Wonder and Lenny Kravitz.
Alicia Keys won best R&B video

Keys also presented a tribute to Ray Charles, who died in June.
Christina Aguilera, Usher, rap newcomer Kanye West and rockers The Polyphonic
Spree were among others who performed live at the ceremony, held at the American
Airlines Arena in Miami.
Last year's MTV Awards attracted controversy after Madonna and Britney Spears
shared a kiss onstage - however this year's show was broadcast with a time delay
of several seconds to avoid further controversy.

Here's a rundown of the 2004 VMA winners:

Video of the Year: OutKast, "Hey Ya!"

Best Female Video: Beyoncé, "Naughty Girl"

To you, ice cream might mean a chilly, creamy vanilla cone.

But to singer, producer and newly minted Reebok sneaker co-creator Pharrell
Williams, those two words translate into cold, hard bills.

“Ice refers to jewels of the mind, and cream is the cash. Those are two things
that run the world, and we wanted to put it below the kids’ feet,” he said at a
recent event marking the launch of his collection.

Williams, 30, does just that with the introduction of his posh Ice Cream
footwear line, which hits stores such as L.A.’s Fred Segal and Paris’ Colette in
September and retails for a cool $225 per pair. Compare that to rapper Jay-Z’s
S. Carter tennis shoe, priced at $79.99 and also produced by Reebok.

Not that Williams, who co-created the shoes with Japanese designer Nigo, wants
just anyone to slip on his sneaks, mind you. The shoes, he says, are
“exclusive.”

The self-described sneaker freak admits that he himself has “got closets full. I
give them away.”

Reebok describes the first shoe in the Ice Cream line as “a skate-influenced
silhouette with a low-profile design that features sparkling images of diamonds
and dollar bills.” Debut color combinations are black/red/blue, yellow/navy/blue
and white/ black/red.

Williams’ day job, of course, consists of being one-half of the mega-successful,
Grammy-winning producing duo the Neptunes and the band N.E.R.D. He and buddy
Chad Hugo have worked with Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake and Usher and
released their second disc, the gold-certified “Fly or Die,” in March.

Now, says Williams, he’s making musical magic again.

“I’ve got something really secret coming out, but I can’t tell you,” he says.
“And we’ll go back in with Justin when he’s ready.”

Rapper 50 Cent was booed off stage at the Reading Festival on Sunday night after
playing for just 25 minutes.

The star was pelted with plastic bottles by the crowd, as he took to the stage
on the final day of the weekend event.
One audience member also hurled a camping chair on stage during the set.
50 Cent was the second act to face a hostile reaction from the crowd after
Finnish rockers The Rasmus were booed off stage just one song into their set.

Ja Rule will plead not guilty to assault charges brought by Toronto police, his
lawyer said today (August 30th). "You can underline that three times," Steven
Skurka said outside court after setting a pretrial date for October 6th.

Ja Rule did not attend the hearing. Skurka said he expects the case to go to
trial in early 2005. The rapper/actor , who lives in New Jersey but has been in
Toronto for film shoots, was charged last month with assault causing bodily
harm. A publication ban was placed on evidence surrounding the charges. At the
time, Ja made a brief court appearance and was let out on bail.

This is one of the best time for independent artist to come out and be apart of
