The Bluegrass Hub is a community of music collectors dedicated to spreading bluegrass and bluegrass-related music.

As collectors we try to our best to stay within the guidelines of bands and artists that allow taping and sharing of their music. We ask that you also try to respect the wish of these artists.

We like to think that we are the top Bluegrass community on the web, and we stress the fact that we consider ourselves a community, not just another music site. We have all become quite good friends over the years and we welcome any new members that wish to join us.

We offer only the best in Lossless music shares, and mp3 or other lossy file formats are not allowed. The live shows that we share are exactly the way they sounded when they were performed with none of the compression that takes away from the original sound of the performance. SHN, FLAC and APE formats are all lossless file formats (so is WAV, but WAV files are way too big to share so we ask that you don’t share these). MP3, MP4A and WMA file formats are examples of Lossy formats and these are strictly forbidden.

We have a hub on Direct Connect for sharing recorded shows in lossless format. DC is a huge peer to peer sharing network. Within the network, there are 100's of hubs to visit that share anything from movies, games, programs, and mp3's. Within The Bluegrass Hub, you can find endless amounts of bluegrass, newgrass, jamgrass, jazz, blues, country, Grateful Dead, Phish .... 1000s of legal, live lossless audio and video concerts.
