Here's my B.D. CD lineup:
1. "Splish Splash" Best Of B.D.
2. "Mack The Knife" Best of B.D.
3. Capitol Collectors Series(B.D)
4. Great Gentlemen Of Song(B.D)
5. Darin At The Copa
6. Earthy/Golden Folk Hits
7. The Curtain Falls(Live At The Flamingo)
The two live albums are exceptional! Bobby's
impersonations of Dean
Martin AND Jerry Lewis are spot on! I also purchased
the Curb
records "Greatest Hits" because I was told the live
version of "If I
Were A Carpenter" was better than the studio take and
it is. There's
just so much music in this guy. You can just HEAR that
he loves every
genre that he dabbled in. What's amazing to me is that
whether it's
folk, swing, rock or country, Bobby ALWAYS sounds
authentic!
Thanks a lot for your invaluable advice i to have my
taste firmly in punk /new wave in fact went to see the
damned in edinburgh last night but find b/d like a
breath of fresh air quality never goes out of fashion
