I just got the DVD Mack Is Back.
In it he does a fantastic 'Beyond The Sea'. Worth getting the DVD
just for that cut. He breaks during the song to do a couple of
lines from two songs which he says are so old they're from
before his time. I think one of them is 'A Tisket a Tasket' made
famous by Ella. But I can't figure out the other one. The lyrics go
something like,
"He wears blue suede shoes no belt in the back. No Flair no lair
just a belt in the back. Hip! Hip!"
I might be getting the lyrics wrong. What's a 'lair'? But that's
as close as I can come. And Bobby's probably playing with the
lyrics anyway.
So can anyone identify that song? Did anyone get the DVD?
