Would love to have seen Spacey on TV. I'm sure he is nervous, as he' s not a
regular vocal performer - amazing on stage and screen though. Wonder if there is
a way to download this show from the net, or a least the Kevin clips?

Hi Lyle here
Saw Kevin Spacey singing live on The Michael Parkinson show on UK
tv,Saturday 6th November he was very good his phrasing, clarity, tone and
diction were excellent.
He sang Hello Young Lovers, & Mack The Knife very well, he does have an
uncanny resemblance to the great man and has to be applauded for his efforts
and attention to detail of Bobby's style.
On the down side was that he looked understandably nervous surrounded by a
73 piece big band of top musicians (rabbit in the headlight springs to mind,
it's a lot harder than acting)and his timing was slightly out,but all in all
a top rate attempt to copy Bobby.
Nevertheless although he was very good his singing not suprisingly falls
well short of the Master but should not be dimissed or detract from his new
film well done Kevin Im sure this new film Beyond The Sea will help bring
Bobby to the attention of many new listeners to help educate them to his
wonderful voice and bring them the pleasure that he brings to us his already
legion of fans.
