there is no doubt dat this album is certainly diff from the stuff
from tbg.. darker n edgier its quite a breath of fresh air.. but
whether its ultimately for the beta or worse i'll leave it to you to
decide.. but keep in mind we cannot simply compare TBG with Th6..
they are after all two diff styles and personas..
personally i was a lil disappointed with the album at the first
listen.. after months of anticipation to get the limited edition of
it, i was left a lil unsatisfied by the final product.. dun get mi
wrong cos i loved all if her 4 singles released prior to tis.. but it
was the new stuff featured dat seemed lacklustre.. but dat said, the
album did grow on me.. and im glad to say im quite addicted to it
now.. ha.. so heres a short low-down on the tracks..

1)2Bfree - starts with a veri heavy grunge feel.. then its chorus
explodes into quite an energetic one.. digged the claps in the
background.. 6/10

2)Ready? - her latest single release.. loved it.. catchy n exciting..
glad it was short n sweet.. any longer and it'll get draggy.. 8/10

3)Wait till I can dream - her first single released under her new
moniker.. similar feel to dat of Ready?.. so 'nuff said.. 8/10

4)fell in love with you - a slower track.. but with an explosive
chorus again.. frankly i didnt quite like tis at first.. a lil too
repetitive for my liking.. but the chorus was its redeeming factor ..
6/10

5)wana be your idol - a lil dull and cliched sounding.. the onli
thing dat made me sit up n take notice of tis track was the part
after the second chorus.. when the tune changes to something more
catchy.. but overall a let down.. 5/10

6)+gothic Pink+ - the darkest track in the whole album.. reminds me
of stuff from the Smashing Pumpkins.. 6/10

7)Swear - not much of an impression of tis track.. although guitar
work here was pretty good i muz add.. 6/10

8)lost my pieces - a slow and depressing starter.. but the chorus was
fantastic.. loved the tune and background vocals in the chorus.. a
good juxtaposition between the verses and chorus.. 8/10

9)GIMME ALL OF YOUR LOVE !! - a veri fast paced track.. couldnt get
tis song outta mi head after the first time i heard it.. superb
stuff.. well except for the constant repetitions of the title near
the end of the song.. holds the listener in anticipation for too
long.. felt a lil anal retentive.. haha.. but overall still one of mi
fav tracks.. 9/10

10)LCDD - tis one realli got mi up on my feet.. electrifying and oh
so happy sounding.. feel good rock neva sounded so good.. when it got
to the chorus i was totalli stunned by the brilliance of tis track..
its the epitome of catchiness.. plus fantastic vocals from Tomoko.. a
perfect remedy for all those who are suffering from TBG withdrawal..
mi all time fav Th6 track.. period.. 11/10.. haha!

11)Hey my friend - tis used to be mi fav track outta her 4 singles..
more laid back sounding.. realli reminded me of TBG.. the part dat
realli made me melt was near the veri end.. when she juz hummed in a
trully ethereal voice.. the 10+ seconds of dat was enuff to make tis
track worth listening.. haha.. but dats juz me eh.. 10/10

As a whole i rate tis album a 7.5/10 and would recommend it to all
TBG fans.. esp those who are more into the grunge or hard rock
stuff.. i wasnt one of those.. but i still enjoyed it thoroughly..
although i felt dat perhaps Tommy was trying too hard to potray her
new persona.. dat it felt so manufactured and lacked originality at
times.. tis is especially seen in the videos dat came together with
the limited edition.. i sorta felt bad dat Tommy had to go thru dat
transformation.. shes not getting any younger and her producers made
a wrong choice to follow the image of the teeny booper Avril for her
case.. it just doesnt click.. i hope it aint stifling the style outta
her..
nonetheless i still remain a die hard TBG fan to the end.. and wadeva
Tommy Heavenly6 churns out i'll still strive to get mi hands on it..
after all it was Tomoko's sweet vocals dat got me hooked to TBG in
the first place.. not to mention their knack for making hit after hit
of kick ass music.. im crossing my fingers dat a new TBG album will
be out soon.. the waits been too freakin long!
